Antique Victorian Scottish Agate Sterling Buckle Brooch:
This enchanting brooch hails from the mid to late 1800's when Queen Victoria became enamored with all things Scottish, especially the "pebble" jewelry. The brooch is sterling silver ( unmarked and tested) and set with banded agate and jasper in an engraved silver setting. It is embellished with a silver buckle ( garter) on the left side. If you look bottom right on the brooch, you can see what appears to be a separated stone..but the edges are smooth, and the stones are secure, so I have no idea if it was originally this way. The brooch has a tube hinge and open c-clasp and has no makers marks. It measures 1 1/2 by 1 1/4".

SOLD::::Rare Vintage 1938 Disney Enterprises DOC with Lantern Pin:
These charming Disney brooches are hard to find, so I am pleased to present Doc for your consideration. Although he appears to be crafted from wood, research shows the Brier Company of Providence RI used a composite for these pieces. For his age, his paint is in wonderful condition. Doc is carrying a raised lantern in one hand and what appears to be a stick or club in the other. He maintains the details in his face including his red nose and glasses. The pin back has wear, but closes securely, and you can still read 1938 Disney Enterprises. Of course you already know these pins were released for the movie Snow White! Doc measures 1 5/8 by 1 1/4". Don't let this one get away!
