Edwardian 14kt White Gold Full Figural Cameo of Euterpe
This stunning shell cameo from the Edwardian period depicts the Greek Muse of music, Euterpe. She is classically depicted in a flowing draped gown playing the lyre. Her name means " giver of delight". This lovely figural is beautifully carved and the scene is highly detailed. The 14kt white gold setting is embellished on each of the four corners with flowers and leaves. The setting is beautifully done. This particular piece is a brooch/pendant, giving you several ways to wear this exquisite piece. The cameo is in excellent condition, the only blemish is a small chip on the back up under the bail. A fabulous find and must have for the lover of fine cameos.
