Vintage Etruscan Revival Blue Enamel Swag Brooch
This fabulous vintage brooch has so many wonderful elements going on! The ornate top has an Etruscan design enameled in deep blue. There is some light chipping around the raised center. The raised antique gold tone center features a sunburst accented with faux pearls. The swag is composed of two chains on each side suspending a small centerpiece embellished with a faux pearl and suspending graduated foxtail chains. The back of the brooch has an applied layer in art nouveau style flowers and vines. Amazingly, this piece is unsigned! The brooch measures 2 1/8" and drops an impressive 4".
