Vintage Black Diamond Smoky Topaz Rhinestone Swedged Brooch
I am a huge fan of swedged ( riveted and layered) brooches and black diamond rhinestones, and this impressive brooch is the best of both. The brooch is layered in a pinwheel design and set with glittering black diamond and smoky topaz rhinestones. The outer arms radiate around the outside and curl upwards towards the center of the brooch. The innner layer alternates chaton topaz rhinestones alternating with pairs of black diamond chatons. The raised center is a large black diamond. The swedged construction keeps these larger brooches light weight and easy to wear. The brooch measures 3" and is unsigned. Classic 1950's glamour!
