Coro Sterling Jelly Belly Turtle Fur Clip Brooch
It’s turtle time! This adorable and hard to find authentic Coro sterling jelly belly fur clip/brooch is looking for a new home! The Adolph Katz patent is from May 1, 1945, #141,073. In wonderful condition, he is crafted in gold plated sterling silver. His clear lucite belly is adorned with seven sparkling rhinestones. Sparkling clear rhinestones are set in sections around his shell and the back of his head, his eyes are tiny blue rhinestones. He was originally half of a duette clip, which Coro referred to as “separatable brooches”. Fully signed, this amazing piece is signed sterling on the fur clip, Coro on one side of his shell and sterling ( a poor strike) on the other side of his shell. He measures 1 3/4 by 7/8". The clip holds securely.
