Art Deco Silver Overlay Germany Red Celluloid Needle Case
This lovely art deco needle case is from an era when even the most utilitarian items were so beautifully made! Crafted in lipstick red celluloid and bound with silver overlay on both the top and bottom, the top unscrews to hold sewing needles. There is a rough area that runs down the side of the top, scuffing in the celluloid, but it does not effect either the look or the use of the piece. The needle case measures 3 5/8" long by 3/4" wide and is stamped Germany on the top. A lovely piece of sewing history from days gone by!
