Vintage Art Deco Black Galalith Marcasite French Cicada Brooch
This stunning French art deco cicada figural brooch is hand carved from black galalith and and embellished with gold paint. The brooch is accented with sparkling marcasites set into the wings and the eyes. The cicada is in amazing condition with no signed of wear and measures 3 by 1 7/8". These pieces were French in origin but never signed. A true art deco treasure!
