Vintage 1930's Blue Art Glass Peacock Figural Brooch
This graceful vintage peacock brooch is crafted in silver tone pot metal. The fanned out tail is set with teardrop art glass stones, a lovely swirling of baby blue and cream with a bit of a cats eye effect. The base of the tail is detailed with tiny individual feathers with a faint wash of baby blue enamel. The body used to have a light wash of blue enamel but most has worn off over time. The crest is set with three light pink rhinestones. These brooches came in many variations and are a treat to find! As with most of the peacocks, this one is unsigned. The brooch measures 2 1/4 by 2".
