Fabulous Marcel Boucher Sterling Exotic Bird Brooch
This exotic vintage bird brooch from Marcel Boucher is crafted in gold plated sterling silver and dates from the late 1940s. The bird is crested, his crest set with pave' sparkling rhinestones. His wing is accented with three prong set emerald cut deep purple rhinestones. His dimensional design is quite fabulous! The gold vermeil over the sterling has worn some from age and use, but the brooch still shows extremely well. I have not polished the metal. The brooch is signed sterling with the Phrygian cap of Marcel Boucher. It measures 2 3/8" by 1 1/4". A fabulous figural collectible, and not one easily found!
