Vintage Italian Blue on Blue Millefiori Bead Necklace
This lovely vintage Italian millefiori bead necklace features a long cylindrical baby blue bead separated with three round beads, alternating around the necklace and closing with a secure brass screw clasp. Each bead is hand made, and each shows slight variations. The beads are all framed in brass filigree end caps and hand knotted between each one. The name millefiori means "a thousand flowers", and each round bead has two, the cylindrical have 4, each flower as individual as a snowflake! This lovely necklace measures 29", a great length to wear alone or layer.
