Art Deco Mesh Gate Top Purse
This lovely art deco gold metallic mesh bag is unsigned and in excellent condition. It has the gate top, that stretches open and closes easily and correctly, and an engraved cap that holds it closed. The mesh is in excellent condition. The chain is an open flat link with an ornate stamped design and has no weak spots or wear. The only wear is on the inside of the cap and some light wear to the gate top cross pieces. Please note this purse is not lined, nor does it carry a Whiting and Davis signature. Many companies made these lovely accessories. The purse laid flat is 5" long and 4 1/2" wide.
