Vintage Featherlite Bubbleite Blue Rhinestone Bracelet and Drop Earring Set
This is a fabulous set crafted in molded featherlite celluloid, also known as bubbleite. The oval clamper bracelet features a pattern of chrysanthemums alternating with smaller flowers. It is set with deep aqua blue rhinestones in the small flowers and tiny clear rhinestones in the large. The matching drop earrings feature a circle of small flowers and ribbons set with the aqua blue rhinestones. The small flower at the top is set with a tiny clear. The clip backs hold securely. The earrings measure 1 1/2" across and the total length is 2 1/8'. These lovely pieces are in excellent condition. This is a 1950's set, although you will see these incorrectly listed as art deco. The formula for bubbleite is a different formula of celluloid than the earlier pieces from the 20's and 30's.
