Vintage West Germany Blue Glass Filigree Pendant Necklace
This gorgeous vintage necklace features a huge faceted blue glass stone in an unusual angled cut in luscious ocean blue. The bottom facets form a star! The setting is incredibly ornate filigree, intricate and scrolled and quite dimensional. Even the back of the setting features an elaborate hear design. The pendant measures 2 7/8" long (including the bale) and 1 7/8" wide. The single link chain is substantial and well made and has an ornate pearl style clasp set with a blue rhinestone. It measures 25 1/2" long. Although unsigned, this piece is easily attributed to West German origin based on style and construction. It is in excellent condition.
