Vintage Napier Door Knocker Lion Head Necklace
This vintage necklace from Napier features a dimensional cast lion head suspending an articulated door knocker in in his mouth. The lion is beautifully made in heavy gold plating, his face framed with curling mane. The chain is a substantial "twisted wire" link chain with a spring ring closure. The chain measures 8" on each side, with an additional 1 1/4" across the head of the lion. The lion head measures 3 by 2 1/4". The necklace is signed Napier (c).
