Vintage Karen Reed for Bergere Gold Plated Seashell Choker Necklace
A wonderful vintage design from Bergere, this necklace features genuine sea shells! The large scallop shell center has been heavily gold plated. The necklace itself is small genuine shells mixed with wooden beads suspending both gold plated and natural shells. The large, gold plated moon snails are gorgeous! The necklace is in wonderful condition. The center scallop shows a little plating wear where the pink of the shell shows through, but it does not detract in any way from the beauty of this piece. The push-in box clasp is tight and secure. The hang tag says Karen Reed and the Bergere cartouche is on the back of all three large gold plated shells. Measures 15".
