Vintage Reverse Painted Horse Head Intaglio Brooch with Horn:
This gorgeous vintage brooch is crafted from brass with a lovely reverse painted horse head under a glass dome. A hunting horn lays across the , behind the horn is a buckle design on each side of a stirrup. I love all the design elements this piece has. I have never seen another like it. The brass has normal age patina, I have not polished it, and the horse head painting is in excellent condition. There are no chips or scratches in the glass dome. The brooch has an open c-clasp, which holds well, and measures 3 1/4 by 1 1/8".

Rare Signed Silson Horse Head Hitching Post Brooch:
This rare Silson brooch from the 1940's features a horse head hitching post. The horse is detailed and elegant, with chain "reins" dangling from his head. The antique gold tone finish is in great condition, with only small wear to the ribs of the post and an area on the pin stem. The brooch measures 3 by 1" and is signed SILSON.

Vintage Sterling Silver and Garnet Dimensional Horse Head Stick Pin:
This sterling silver horse head stick pin is absolutely stunning! The horse head is detailed and dimensional, with flowing mane and sparkling red garnet eyes. His mane cascades around his neck and he has tiny, tippy ears..must be a stallion instead of a mare! There is a hint of gilding on his mane, and looking at the back of the stickpin, I think the brooch was vermeil at one time. The brooch is unsigned and acid tests as sterling silver. The head measures 1 1/8" long by 1" wide and the total length is 2 1/4".
