Avi Soffer Israeli Sterling Amber Amethyst Artisan Necklace: This gorgeous necklace from Israeli designer Avi Soffer has a wonderful modernist feel with a square sterling central medallion crafted in sterling silver and set with a square amber cabochon. The medallion measures 1 1/8". The necklace is formed from polished amber chunks with small sterling silver bead accents. Large amethyst chunks in rich purple have polished facets in irregular shapes. The necklace length is 17" with sterling silver toggle clasp. Signed Avi Soffer 925

Vintage Russian Amber Ant Bug Brooch: Although this brooch is often referred to as a spider, he only has 6 legs so we will just have to consider him an ant. This bug is crafted from gold plated metal with a large teardrop Russian amber body and round head. There are markings above the clasp on the back, but I can't read them. I often see these pieces sold as 8k gold, but this is plated metal. A nice size at 1 3/4", he is in excellent condition. C-clasp closure holds securely. This fun critter will be a great conversation starter!

Vintage Sterling Silver Cherub Holding Amber Stick Pin: This vintage cherub stick pin is crafted in sterling silver. She is a large and substantial casting, feminine and lovely and cradles an amber cabochon. She is quite detailed, with individual feathers on her wings and delicate features. The cherub herself measures 1 3/8 by 1" with the total length being 3". The cherub is marked 925 on the tip of her right wing.

Vintage Sterling Silver Amber Nugget Spider Brooch: This oh so adorable vintage spider brooch is hand crafted from sterling silver. His body is crafted from two nuggets of genuine amber. The clasp is cleverly done, an open c-claps that holds securely. His condition is excellent. This little guy is cute as a bug ( sorry, couldn't resist!) and so realistic. He is unmarked, but of course acid tested. The brooch measures 1 1/4".

Vintage Green Amber and Sterling Silver Link Bracelet: This lovely sterling silver bracelet is set with seven marquise shaped green amber cabochons that simply glow in the light! The bracelet measures 7 1/4" long and has a secure lobster claw clasp. This is a lovely bracelet to wear alone or layer with all your silver. The bracelet is marked 925 on the jump ring and has also been acid tested.

Vintage Sterling Silver Marcasite Amber Brooch Pendant: This lovely sterling silver and amber piece is both a brooch and a pendant. The open work silver is set with small round and baguette shaped marcasites with an oval amber stone in the center. The bale is large enough for most chains and the pin back is secure with a double roll over closure I haven't seen before. The piece measures 1 1/4 by 1" and is signed 925 with a makers mark.
