HAR Blue Enamel and Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set
Rare and wonderful, HAR was only in business from 1940-1960, and little is known about the company. This set shows the high quality in design and construction typical of HAR pieces. The rich blue enamel starburst frames a center with a huge glowing saphire blue chaton rhinestone, surrounded by smaller clear chaton rhinestones. The goldtone metal has a brushed finish on the back of the pin. The matching earrings are a slightly lighter shade of blue, probably a variation in the enameling process. The brooch is marked HAR(c). The earrings are unmarked, as is often the case in sets.
