Antique Gold Filled Engraved Large Oval Locket Necklace
This antique gold filled locket dates to the late Edwardian era. The long oval shape is very elegant and engraved with flowers and chevrons. The locket opens to reveal a baby photo, a later addition. The original photo ring is intact. The gold filled metal has a faint rose gold hue. The locket measures 2 1/8 by 3/4”. The chain is a later addition and is signed 1/20th 12k gf, and the initials BAB for Ballou and Company. The dark finish on the chain complements the pendant quite well! The chain measures 18”.
