Vintage Polcini Two Tone Sapphire and Rhinestone Earrings
These amazing vintage clip back earrings from Polcini are large and layered! The focal point is a faceted sapphire blue glass open back stone surrounded by a frame of sparkling chaton rhinestones in gold tone metal. The bottom layer is silver tone metal set with pave rhinestones in a star design. The edges have a fine milgrain pattern only seen in high end pieces. Overlaying the background are gold tone "rays", adding even more visual interest. Two tone pieces like these were labor intensive and expensive to make, as each section is a separate casting. These fabulous clip back earrings measure 1 1/4". These earrings appear to have been worn little if at all and are signed Polcini(c).
