Item # SETRFIGMUSICAL8 $110.00
Vintage Rhinestone Enamel Musical Instrument Set Saxophone Banjo Clarinet: These enchanting musical figural brooches are from the 1930's when figurals were king. The set includes a saxophone , clarinet and banjo. The brooches are encrusted with sparkling rhinestones and black enamel details on silver tone pot metal. These brooches are unsigned but are period copies of the a set made by Ora , the Singer and Agini company. I have included photos of the patent for the Ora pieces. You can see slight differences in the unsigned set. This was a standard practice back in the day and resulted in many lawsuits between companies. The saxophone measures 3 by 1 1/2", the banjo measures 2 1/4 by 3/4" and the clarinet measures 1 7/8 by 3/4". They are in wonderful condition. It a wonder to me that these pieces have managed to stay together for all these years! Unsigned
